How to get rid of a bloated stomach – 5 steps to reduce bloating

Bloating affects many people, men as well as women and is one of the most common diet problems.  Not only does it make you feel uncomfortable after eating even a small amount but it can also affect your weight loss.  You may feel like you have been sticking to your diet and exercising and yet you have not lost weight and your belly looks and feels fat and rounded.  The problem is likely bloating.

Bloating isn’t a permanent problem but can affect your motivation.  When you see your stomach getting flatter it will make you feel good and you will be inspired to continue making good food choices and doing regular workouts.  Whereas bloating can cause you to feel like you are failing and give up on your diet.

So, what can you do to reduce bloating and ensure that you continue to lose weight fast?
1.    Reduce sodium intake – often found in processed and tinned foods
2.    Eliminate foods you are intolerant to – gluten and dairy are common
3.    Cut out diet soda – it has less sugar than regular so seems good for your diet but the carbonation makes you bloated
4.    Stop chewing gum – even though chewing gum stops you snacking you take in a lot of air whilst chewing which leads to your stomach bloating
5.    Increase cardio exercise – this reduces water retention, gets your blood flowing and increases calories burned

Follow these 5 steps and you will find that you feeling less bloated – removing the uncomfortable feeling and adding lbs to your weight loss.
